Grid Goal - A Gamified Goal & Task Tracker
A case study on GridGoal, a simple app to manage goals and tasks. Visualize your dedication and track consistency with a GitHub-style grid, a simple alternative to Notion for gamified productivity.
The motive to build this app came to me when I wanted to track my work as well as display it like a github grid, and also to gamify it. Even though Notion has lots of templates that can do this, I wanted to make a simple to begin app with no initial learning curve.
The app still needs a lot of polishing, improvements and refinements to make it a daily use tool. Planning to launch a new variant by 2026 new year's eve, which is more clear, less noisy and get's the work done in a neat organized and gamified way.
